We have a finely graduated selection of casting moulds for plates, blocks, cylinders, pipes etc. As a result you will receive exactly what you need – not more and not less.
Following we have put together all the standard sizes we produce – other sizes upon request. Most of our products are in stock and are produced at short notice. We supply blanks that are ready for production – from the one-off piece to volume series.
Available in the standard colours natural, yellow and black. Other colours upon request.

Cylinders, discs
Cylinders and discs according to customers’ requirements
We produce cylinders according to our customers‘ requirements within the maximum dimensions mentioned below. The cylinders are cast and their outer diameter is turned. For applications involving high power transmissions we recommend frictional coupled metal hubs that are cast into the part.

We produce cylinders according to our customers‘ requirements within the maximum dimensions mentioned below. The cylinders are cast and their outer diameter is turned. Free choice of combination of inner and outer diameters. As a guideline for an optimised design, a ratio of D:d = 2:1 is to be assumed.

Blanks
Tailored to your production
Whether you need discs, rings, strips or blocks – we can supply you with any number of precision-fit semi-finished parts for your production. The outer diameter of pipes and cylinders are turned as standard. Plates up to 1000 mm wide can be planed or ground to thickness – with machining allowance or to finished size with surface finish.

Whether for large volume or single-part production – we are also happy to supply you with formed parts ready for use.
Thanks to our close collaboration with specialised mechanical production companies, they have the necessary know-how and experience in working with PA 12G. We are thus able to supply you with top quality and dimensionally accurate formed parts at favourable conditions.
We will be happy to make you a concrete offer based on your drawings.

Special formats
The specialty of special formats
PA 12G is a precious material and must therefore be processed in a material-saving manner. Casting moulds specifically designed to match the geometry of the moulded part help to save raw material and costs – the investment costs for the casting moulds are often amortised after only a few castings. Machining times can thus also be reduced because less material has to be removed. We will be happy to advise you on how to realise your construction as optimally and cost-efficiently as possible. We have many years of experience in specialised mould design and construction.
Recycling of used hubs
If the plastic sheathing has worn out but the hub is still in working order, the hub can be re-cast into a customised casting mould. In the case of large and complex hubs this can save considerable costs – ask us.
This runner (ø= 450mm) of a mixing drum is subjected to intermittent loads of up to 22 t. The thick lining made of HAWAMID PA 12G can cushion these loads and thus protect the track. Once the lining has worn out we remove it and re-cast the shaft.
